Where does Orgone Energy come from?

The idea of Orgone Energy, first introduced by psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich in the 1930s, who suggested that there is a universal life force permeating all of nature and the cosmos. The accumulator was constructed with alternating layers of organic material (which Reich claimed would attract the Orgone energy) and metal (which would reflect it inward), thus amplifying the life force within the device.

Reich theorized that the atmosphere around us is filled with both positive Orgone Energy (OR), which promotes health and well-being, and Deadly Orgone Energy (DOR), which results from negative environmental influences and can lead to emotional distress or physical illness. His accumulators were intended to filter the harmful DOR and collect the OR for beneficial use. 

According to Reich, by sitting inside or near the Orgone Accumulator, one could absorb this concentrated, cleaned life force energy to recharge the body’s natural healing processes.

The idea was that Orgone Energy, much like electricity, could be harnessed, stored, and used for a variety of therapeutic purposes. While many of Reich's followers have reported positive experiences with these accumulators, mainstream science has remained sceptical, citing a lack of verifiable evidence to support the idea that Orgone Energy exists in any measurable form.

Despite the scepticism, modern adaptations of the Orgone Accumulator, such as Orgonite - a composite material made of resin, metals, and quartz crystals - are used by some for purposes ranging from Energy cleansing to protection against Electromagnetic radiation.
