We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller.

What data we collect

  • Email address and name — when you create an account or contact us
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, time spent
  • Content you post in community discussions
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information

Why we collect it

  • To operate your account and provide platform features
  • To send the biweekly digest (only if you opt in)
  • To moderate community content and enforce our rules
  • To understand how the platform is used and improve it

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

AI features

This platform uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) to power the Oracle feature and assist with content curation.

Content you submit to Oracle features may be processed by Anthropic's API. No personally identifiable information is intentionally sent to AI systems — but you should avoid sharing sensitive personal information through AI features.

Who we share your data with

We use the following services to operate the platform. Each has their own privacy policy and data processing agreements in place:

How long we keep your data

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing contact@esoteric.love. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

  • Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Object to processing
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based
